Vegetarian food is a healthy source of protein. In addition, it provides several bene? ts: it is low in calories, but give you high concentration of vitamins, minerals, complex carbs and dietary ? bre with little fat and no cholesterol. So, a balanced vegetarian diet will help you meet all your nutrient requirement, including protein. Cooking tip: while some amount of cooking is necessary to make proteins digestible, overcooking can lead to breakdown of the protein. This makes it dif?cult to digest.
